1. fair consideration : a consideration that is reasonable and given in good faith; specif : something with a reasonably equivalent value that of fraudulent conveyances is given in good faith in exchange for the transfer of property 2. just compensation : Compensation for property taken under eminent domain that places a property owner in the same position as before property is taken. Just compensation is usually the fair market value of the property taken. Attorney’s fees or expenses are usually excluded
